We hereby wish to lodge our strongest and profound objections to the planning application submitted by Hallam Land Management Company for the intended construction of 135 dwellings and car parking for 50 cars in Church Road, Laverstock.
Church Road already suffers horrendous traffic congestion and subsequent pollution caused by school traffic every week day at the moment.
This problem has been shamefully ignored by the Council for several years despite numerous complaints and concerns expressed by local residents.
We feel that such a development will probably double the contamination and pollution levels in the area and seriously add to potential dangers to children and existing residents, many of whom are elderly and vulnerable.
