Panic prevailed in Haletegur and Hosategur villages on the outskirts of Dharwad city after a few villagers sighted three leopards. Forest department officials are yet to confirm the leopards straying into human habitat. Villagers have reported seeing leopards in the area for the past two days. The search operation is ongoing to locate the leopards.
