Leonard Cure family sues Georgia sheriff's office and deputy for $16 million after shooting death

The family of Leonard Cure, a Florida man who was exonerated after serving more than 16 years for a crime he did not commit before being shot and killed by a deputy in Georgia during a traffic stop last year, on Tuesday announced a $16 million lawsuit against the Camden County Sheriff’s Office and the deputy involved.
