Have no fear. The carnival has been extended through Sunday.
Last week, attendance was higher than expected, as organizers weren’t sure what to expect with the pandemic.
“The turnout has been better we anticipated,” said Celeste Davis, of Dreamland Amusements. “The event has been well received. We are looking forward to the warmer weather this weekend.”
The carnival at the Lake Square Mall, 10401 US Highway 441 in Leesburg, is open 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 10 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit lakesquaremall.com/events/.
