Lee, Herbeck receive a second Korea Foundation grant

The Korea Foundation awarded a grant for the 2021-22 year to Yookyung Lee, adjunct instructor of Korean in the Department of World Languages and faculty advisor of the Korean Club, and Jason Herbeck, professor of French and chair of the Department of World Languages.
Lee and Herbeck also received the grant in 2020-2021, one of just six recipients in the United States, including Emory University, Portland State University, San Francisco State University, University of Connecticut, and University of Kentucky.

Thanks to the grant, the Department of World Languages will continue offering two three-credit courses, Korean Culture and Civilization in the fall semester, and Korean-Pop Culture and Society in the spring semester.
