Yes folks, according to this WCVB report,  Lebron James is now a part of the ownership group of the oldest and most historic Boston sports team in the region. The Boston Red Sox.
While the financial specifics of the deal are unclear, the fact that 'The King' will be a part owner of 'Fenway Sports Group' means much more than just a Sox shareholder. 'FSG' controls Roush Fenway Racing, The Liverpool Football Club and NESN as well.
I can't wait to ask Tom Caron, (Our Boston Sports Insider), if he has lunch plans with his new boss yet, and most importantly, is The Shark Morning Show invited?
