Lawyers Protection Bill useful only to put Pani Puri unless enacted into law: Karnataka High Court

An attack on a young lawyer in Chikmagalur by the police prompted the Karnataka High Court today to question the State government on whether it was serious about enacting legislation to protect advocates from violence.
