Laurentian protests to continue; vigil planned as key date approaches

A car rally and candlelight vigil are in the works for Friday — the deadline for Laurentian to get its restructuring plan approved and the last day of work for many of the staff who have been let go as part of the recent upheaval at the university.
The vigil will be held on the Bridge of Nations beginning at dusk, with participants widely spaced along the span, electric candles proffered in paper bags.
