Latvia's census shows sharpest population decline among Baltic states

Census data of the Central Statistical Bureau of Latvia (CSB) published May 28 show that at the beginning of 2021 the population of Latvia accounted for 1 million 893 thousand people, which is 14.5 thousand people fewer than a year ago.
