Lathrop food giveaway is set for this Saturday
Lathrop City Councilwoman Minnie Diallo, front, was joined by members of the community last weekend at a giveaway of 100 food boxes for those in the community that needed them. The event will take place again this weekend with another 100 food boxes on Saturday at Mossdale Landing Community Park from 12 to 2 p.m.
A local non-profit organization helped ensure that 100 Lathrop families got the food that they needed last week during these uncertain economic times.
