Nearly two-thirds of adults in Southend and Basildon have now had their first dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
NHS data shows 90,962 people had received a vaccine jab by April 11 – 62% of those aged 16 and over
Of those vaccinated, 64,869 were aged 50 and over – 92% of the age group.
It means 26,093 people aged between 16 to 49 have received a first dose of the vaccine.
In Basildon, 91,005 people have had their first Covid jab – 62% of adults.
A total of 64,050 of those residents were aged 50 and over – 95% of the age group.
That means 26,955 people aged between 16 to 49 have received a first dose of the vaccine.
In Castle Point meanwhile, 68% of adults have now had their first jab.
