Las Cruces Public Schools announces full reentry plan to begin April 6
LAS CRUCES – Las Cruces Public Schools is aiming to begin full reentry the week of April 5 in accordance with expectations from the New Mexico Public Education Department.
The LCPS school board voted in favor of four-day entry to begin Tuesday, April 6 since that Monday is a holiday. Board member Terrie Dallman abstained from the vote, while the other four board members voted in favor of the motion.
"Full reentry" means that any student who wants to return to class can do so four or five days a week, according to PED. LCPS will keep Wednesdays as a remote learning day for all grade levels, as suggested by district administrators.
