Laredo College received a $15,000 grant from Texas Mutual Workers Compensation Insurance that will be geared toward the LC Cybersecurity Institute to provide cybersecurity education not only to students but to the Laredo community.
The LC Cybersecurity Institute, which focuses on cybersecurity credit programs and cybersecurity research, was recently awarded with a grant that will provide access to a cyber range for students in the cybersecurity programs and community agencies interested in learning about protecting organizations from malicious attacks on the web.
