Lãnh đạo chủ chốt 62 tỉnh, thành sau kiện toàn
Trong 62 Chủ tịch UBND tỉnh, thành nhiệm kỳ 2021-2026, có 22 người từ 50 tuổi trở xuống; 20 Chủ tịch HĐND là Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Bí thư Tỉnh ủy.
Từ đầu tháng 7, Bộ Chính trị đã điều động, bổ nhiệm 4 tân Bí thư Tỉnh ủy. Ông Lê Đức Thọ, Ủy viên Trung ương Đảng, Chủ tịch HĐQT Ngân hàng Thương mại cổ phần Công Thương Việt Nam (Vietinbank), giữ chức Bí thư Tỉnh ủy Bến Tre nhiệm kỳ 2020-2025. Đầu tháng 6, Bí thư Bến Tre Phan Văn Mãi được điều động làm Phó Bí thư thường trực TP HCM.
