Land of Illusion manager posts open letter to community addressing drowning incident

MIDDLETOWN, Ohio (WKRC) - The manager of Land of Illusion Adventure Park posted an open letter to the community on the park's website addressing the recent drowning incident involving a 14-year-old. 
The letter calls 14-year-old Mykiara Jones' death "devastating." It also intends to set the record straight about some "confusion" and "concerns" that the manager feels exist. 
Jones drowned at the park on July 20. 
Authorities said she went underwater at 5 p.m. A lifeguard found her about 30 minutes later and she was pulled from the water.
