Police said officers were called to the area of Conestoga and South Water streets for reports of a shooting at 2:48 p.m. Dec. 25. A 17-year-old Lancaster resident was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The teen was transported to a local hospital for treatment, police said.
Investigators determined McCracken was the shooter, and after consulting with the Lancaster District Attorney’s Office he was charged as an adult.
Police previously said the two teens had been in an argument prior to the shooting.
