Lakshmi worked for ten years in scientific research before becoming a freelance writer. She contributes regularly to publications in India and abroad. Lakshmi is an award winning short story writer who also has published an anthology of articles, a series on Life Skills for children, and several novels, and teaches creative writing in schools and colleges. Lakshmi lives in Mysore with her husband and two daughters.
