PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas — The UAPB women’s basketball team went into the half tied with Prairie View A&M University 37-37, but took control in the second half to knock off the Lady Panthers 73-63 on Monday and win both games of a Texas road trip.

The Lady Lions (6-8, 2-2 Southwestern Athletic Conference) had four players score in double figures, led by Zaay Green, who had 17 points, 4 assists, 5 steals, and 2 blocks. Maya Peat tacked on a double-double with 16 points and her second straight 21-rebound game, and Sade Hudson chipped in as well with 13 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals off the bench.
