Ladarius Clardy: Pensacola grieves Pine Forest star killed in shooting

No arrests had been made in the shooting as of 5 p.m. Thursday.
Condolences poured in from Pensacola's high school, college and professional athletes at the loss, a reflection of Clardy's considerable stature in the local community. 
An electric dual-threat quarterback who graduated as Pine Forest's all-time leading passer, Clardy played collegiately with NCAA Division I FCS Kennesaw State University.
Clardy was also a track and field star at Pine Forest, winning the 200-meter region title and helping the Pine Forest boys track and field team to its first-ever team region title in 2019. 
"He's my favorite quarterback of all time," Pine Forest teammate and current UAB football player Dacarrion McWilliams said. "I have just been laying in bed all day thinking about how and why this could happen. He was my brother. We grew up together since we were little."
