After having to scale back its donations due to financial constraints brought on by the pandemic, the Corry Central Labor Club is getting back to normal and starting to give money to local organizations in the community.
"We did cut back a lot on donations and we're starting to build back up since things are coming together," Corry Central Labor Club President Jon Maker said. "I think in the near future, probably by fall or early winter, we'll start giving back like we normally did."
Corry Central Labor Club recently decided to make a donation to Corry Regional Fire Co., the volunteer arm of Corry Fire Department, and presented firefighters with a $5,000 check during a board meeting at the club, 30 W. Main St., on Saturday morning.
