(SMYRNA, TN) On Monday (12/11/2023) morning a truck was found in a creek that is just off Fitzhugh Blvd. near the Smyrna-Rutherford County Airport and golf course. Emergency Management retrieved the vehicle. 46-year old La Vergne Police Officer Brandon Joyner died in this single-vehicle accident. He had served six-years with La Vergne Police.
