La Crosse judge featured in NBC Nightly News report on violence against children

MADISON, Wis. (WKBT) — La Crosse County Circuit Court Judge Ramona Gonzalez was featured Thursday in the first of a two-part series examining domestic and family violence.
Gonzalez, who is a board member and immediate past president of the National Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges, talked to NBC about the importance of judicial education in that area.
During the first segment, which aired Thursday, Gonzalez discussed parental rights and how accusations of violence may influence judicial decision-making. The second segment airs at 5:30 p.m. Friday on NBC.
