L&T Bags âSignificantâ Contract To Supply 28 Steel Bridges For Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) has received a 'significant' contract for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project, which is the countryâs first high speed rail corridor project,
Financial Express.
The infrastructure firm has not provided the value of the contract. However, the deal falls under the âsignificantâ category, which generally costs between Rs 1000-2500 crore according to the classification of contracts.
L&T had partnered with Japanâs IHI Infrastructure System (IIS) for the contract under which they will procure, fabricate, assemble, paint and transport 28 steel bridges for the project.
