Males out of car and he has what is a firearm out and he has produce that had firearm and at that point the other Highway Patrol officers fires we believe three times but he definitely fired more than once striking the male. Male was struck at least once in the torso area. Sixteen in millville. Atlantic city, 17 in wildwood. Our winds are just Strong Enough that they are in the 10 to 15mile an hour range. It is breezy, not too bad but they are just Strong Enough that we have feels like temperatures below zero in many spots including wilmington coming in at one below, three below in reading, 15 below zero is what it feels like this morning in the poconos, one above, here in philadelphia so again, cold, windy there is a wind chill advisory in effect, carbon monroe counties up through poconos at 10 00 oclock this morning because feels like temperatures zero to minus 15 for again, feels like temperatures in the poconos this morning. As we get through later half of the morning and into the early afternoon we will start to see those, wind chill factors alleviate the problem just a little bit and we will see Single Digits above zero for many folks by the time it is wrapping up at 10 00 oclock this morning. In the afternoon our winds continue to die down but it is still not going to be feeling great, still feeling like the teens in many spots. Future weather today, sunshine for the most part, cold sunshine all the way through the day and even into the nighttime hours. We will start to see a few more included filter in then what is being shown right there but then we will take new to monday and tuesday here comes our system that is bringing the chance for maybe a few snow showers out there, you see by tuesday morning, up in the poconos, maybe a few flurries of snow shower activity, then that cold front slowly track is a cross the region through overnight Hours Tuesday into wednesday morning so right now it looks like wednesday mornings commute should be okay but maybe driving home from work on tuesday could be dicey. When snowfall, we get ice melt and we might get that, thaw relatively quickly with a rainfall event and then we have a huge spike of this salt coming through the system. Reporter plante says all that saltings in the sewer system and then our rivers, streams, eventually making its way in the water supply. And the salt then can accumulate in the soil, making the soils more salty, making the soil less productive. We probably could use over 40,000 tons of salt. Our own anita oh is live with a sneak peak of is what on the menu, good morning, anita. Reporter good morning, jan were live at carabou cafe this morning and when Restaurant Week first started in 2003, there were only 40 restaurants participating. Now three times that, more than 120 restaurants participating. Joining me is chef oliveri, cooking up a storm this morning and that is what you will be doing for next two weeks. Can you talk about some items on your menu. It is very classical french cuisine and we only serve, simple dish, very tasty, if it sounds good, my rule is if it smells good, it has got to be good. This is a trout with a route puree, some sauce and beans. This is sea food crabs with shrimp, salmon and scallops in there, the white wine sauce, this is very typical french, you go to a restaurant in france you will see that on the menu. Of course, we have some appetizers, typical appetizers , a salad, tuna salad, and it is a french restaurant and we have to have escargo. They are all homemade, very delicious. Very yummy. This is for lunch. Pistachio, raspberry, everything will be different. This is a very good, cheflet. You will make our viewers salivate here talking about all this. That is the point. Reporter so what does it mean as a chef to bring your native food here to philadelphia. I have been doing this for about 35 years now and, this is, like as i said, french cuisine never died, really. It is classical, french, full of flavor, very simple, and to me it is very important for me to share what i grew up with, with the smell in my mothers kitchen to the restaurant. Philadelphia fire department, hepp worldwide and the American Red Cross in West Philadelphia yesterday, they went door to door checking peoples smoke alarms and installing new won. It is an effort to save lives. If people just have enough warning, because of that smoke alarm it gives them enough time to get out. Climate central meteorologist sean sublet said this tool can predict areas in jeopardy. We can see what areas are most vulnerable whether it is a national park, whether it is somebodys house, whether it is some infrastructure as seas rise. Staying in philadelphia, we have a water main break on lincoln drive at wissohickon avenue, the road is closed, this has been going on since early this morning. Standing water on the roadway is starting to turn to ice, Water Company is on the scene and they also have called salt trucks to the area to dry up the roadway and melt ice. There is over 150 events they do other than baseball games and i feel like that is what i would enjoy because i like making people happy.
