Cbs3 photo journalist you saw right there, matt marano and hundreds of others took a dip in the frigid atlantic yesterday for the cause. He had a smile on his face. It was cold yesterday. Even colder today. I will pass on the polar bear plunge. No thank you. Good for them, good cause. Hey, get out there, do your thing, im in the going to stop you, i will just not join we will watch. Very, very cold yesterday especially as we got later on into the afternoon and evening hours, the wind kicked up, and here, this morning, it is still breezy, still cold and even later this afternoon even though winds will calm down and sunshine coming out it is not even an average day, for us, here, these middle of december days. What we can expect for this afternoon, a breezy morning, with wind chills, here, in philadelphia and mess of the surrounding suburbs in at zero to about 10 above zero range. The further north, Lehigh Valley, up in the peck necessary we will be looking more along the lines of about zero to 15 below zero for those wind chill values in the first half of the day and then that cold afternoon sunshine as high temperatures today, dont escape the 20s. We are looking at highs maybe right around 25, 26 degrees. So almost 20 degrees below where we should be this time of the year. Planning out your sunday drinking your coffee here is sunshine. Temperatures in the 20s early in the day heading out to brunch, only 22, still continuing to see that sunshine, if you are out and about this afternoon wear winter jacket, you need heavier coat because even though we have that sunshine out there, a high of only 26 degrees, and then were back down in the teens with a few extra included as we head toward dinner time, time, later this evening. Future satellite radar for us the temperatures mixing in as well, we will see teens here earlier in the day, and that sunshine will be out there, temperatures staying in the 20 s from wilmington, philadelphia, trenton and along that i95 corridor. Lehigh valley, not too much different reading, allentown both at 24 degrees. And then as we head back down into new jersey, and the coast even, we are looking at highs later today that are in the mid to high 20s range but what we see is no where reaches the 30s, this afternoon, and later tonight, into tomorrow morning, we will see maybe a few extra cloud then what the future radar is showing us but we will see plenty of teens tomorrow morning so we are waking up on monday with a hats, gloves, scarves ready to go for kid waiting for the best and head out to start your workday temperatures in the Single Digits up toward the poconos. We have that chance for maybe a quick hitting snow shower, or two, on tuesday, maybe into parts of the wednesday as well and another dose of cold air pushes through but as we get in the second half of the week we will watch as a big ridge of High Pressure starts to form and another area of low pressure starts to come together out in the midwest and that means an influx of southerly winds and warmer air is going to move on in as we head toward, friday, saturday and the weekend, so maybe another kind of end of the month, thaw, in store for us here again toward friday and saturday. For today 26 degrees in the afternoon. Thirtys for us tomorrow, for, Martin Luther king junior day, winter is returning for shore tomorrow in the afternoon. There is our snow chance, on tuesday, and wednesday, temperatures staying in the high 20s to mid 30s, and it looks like it is a quick hitting system in the a whole lot if any real accumulation with this, dont see too much problem with Winter Weather through middle of the week and we will see 32 on thursday and then those 40s enclose to maybe 50 degrees as we head in the weekend.
