This is a 18foot, christmas tree, completely decorated, in dried flowers this is only one of the special rooms where the conservatory now, but one of the one, one of the many special rooms that is decked out in style and style that is truly, all american, lets take a look. Celebrate the traditions of holiday past at winterthur the magnificent estate of Henry Frances du pont. It is he or oversaw the rise to become one of the Great AmericanCountry Estates of the early 20th century. Reporter almost 60 years ago it was he, who opened up his childhood home of 175 rooms to the public to showcase more than 90,000 pieces of carefully cure rated americana and it all started with this dresser. It just captured his imagination, he felt this is what he should be collecting as an american, he should collect american furniture. Mr. Du pont collected thousands of upon thousands of dishes. He had about 50 sets that he actually used. He kept lists, for over 50 years of every meal that was served at this table.
