Philadelphia International Airport is a hub for American Airlines so they operate dozens of flights out of here daily so with this shortage it could result in thousands of upset passengers come this very busy Christmas Travel season. Worlds Biggest Airline has a big problem, a scheduling glitch allowed too many American Airlines pilots to schedule time off at the end of the year which could ground thousands of flights for people heading home for the holidays. Real bad, holiday coming, we have new years coming, christmas coming so people will be highly upset. Reporter allied pilots so, say more than 15,000 flights are at risk of cancellation from the december 17th to the 31st. The story the grinch that stole christmas at American Airlines. Reporter captain dennis taser is spokesmen for the pilots union. We will to have get creative, it will require a partnership in how we get those over 15,000 flights, manned with captains and first officers. It is a heavy lift.
