Chelsea ingram back to tell us when we can see the heaviest rain we are back in a moment, stay with it could make it interesting on the field there at lincoln financial field, but as the head grounds keeper told our very own pat gallen earlier this season they are ready for anything. So, under that field is there a gravel base, drain lines, a sand soil mix and use a product called objecting was control that allows soil to drain fast. Heaviest rain though, moves in later this afternoon and evening. I will show thaw right now. Future weather heading toward the noon time hour, looking at this heavy band of rain that sets up around philadelphia, i95 corridor, down the shore, but this is what happens, as we head into the ladder part of the afternoon and this evening, the atmosphere just unleashes a fire hose of rain, for points from philadelphia on east down the shore and also area north of philadelphia these are locations that are under that Flash Flood Watch, throughout the sunday, today, and then we wont even deal with a little bit of rain, in machine morning before things taper off, and clear out, by monday afternoon. We are dealing with the rain and also the wind. As far as rainfall amounts, heres what you can expect, generally thinking, anywhere from one to 3 inches is a good possibility for a large back to the area if you will. Areas east of philadelphia, points north, where we can pick upward of four or maybe even 5 inches of rain. That is not out of the question and it is going to be a Tropical Storm philip that is transitioning, lose its tropical characteristics and help enhance, our rainfall, as we head in the latter part of the day to day. Wind of around 50 miles an hour, located just off east coast of the florida peninsula let me show you what happens throughout the daytoday. It will accelerate off to the north ande, and interact with the coastal system, right off our neighborhood, right off our coast throughout the daytoday, and that is enhancing our rainfall as system departs. That is when wind ramp up, and really pick up as we head in the overnight hours tonight and then also on monday. Strongest wind in our neighborhood by monday morning when we can see gusts to around 60 miles an hour. So wind advisory has been issued for the entire region. 63 degrees right now in philadelphia. Sixtyfour in millville. Sixtyfour down the shore in wildwood. Sixtyfive in atlantic city. It is a wet one for the game g news, it looks like those strong 40, 50, miles an hour wind are not developing in the overnight hours tonight and tomorrow morning. Wind wise we should be fine at kick off but period of rain 65 n the Fourth Quarter toward the post game with the temperature around 63 degrees. Today breeze which rain, heavier at times. Sixtysix. That is forecast high temperature, and really not changing that much today, 59 on monday, things clearing out by monday afternoon but windy, you guys and 60 on tuesday. And, sunshine on halloween, back to you, jan. Chelsea, thank you. 8 48. Time to check the road lets go to Amanda Mueller, in the cbs3 Traffic Center. Cbs3 traffic reporter Meisha Johnson went to worchester for a taste of fall. This dream drive is taking to us a place with a whole lot of family fun. Lets go. Mary me farms is a area of choice for generations of Montgomery County residents, coowner john carr. The family has been farming for over a hundred years and my wife, and i, believe is a fourth generation. Right before halloween this place is hopping, with pumpkin pick ups. We definitely make it a pint to come here every year. It is kind of a generation al thing, back, they bring their kid, grand kid, great grand kid. We have been here for a while. We like to go look at the animals. What is that pigs name. Franklin. You are right. So were entering in the 5 acre corn maze designed by my wifes cousin. They hand cut it. Wow. It looks like you could actually get who back here. There are people that get lost, we send search and rescue we have guys with walkietalkies. I always get to see scare close like this one all dressed up foresees on. Yes, my goodness, okay, that was, that was so good, and so real. Jeff appears from prearranged tours teaching kid about famous farmers like johnny appleseed. I have heard so much about your ice cream here. We have our own dairy cows that we process on site which is very rare, anymore these days. We use 14 percent butter fat mix which is giving you the creaminess. This is pull kin. That is so good the cider doughnuts are a huge hit in october even through thanksgiving. They are made with love, in the bakery. We sellout often, and early. That is, i can eat a bunch of them but im stuffed. I bet. Meisha johnson for cbs3 Eyewitness News. You know what ill take an apple cider doughnut in the middle of the summer they are delicious. So good, totally one of my favorite things about fall. I know, unfortunately today will not be a beautiful fall day. Yesterday was absolutely stunning, right . Just a perfect weekend day but today certainly the complete opposite, for us, we are dealing with rain that is continuing to over spread the region throughout the daytoday. It will turn heavier at times and we can end up picking up one to 3 inches of rain. We are looking at storm scan three so we are starting to see that rain overturn the region, over moving through the region i should say and we will see heavy pockets. We can see arease of philadelphia maybe even points north upward of four or 5 inches on have rain, and then wind, it is a huge problem heading in the overnight hours tonight and tomorrow this storm will be pulling away, and then wind will be picking up. We could see gusts around 40 to 50 miles an hour by monday morning, and that is when the strongest winds will be arriving, and then eventually we will clear out and we will set up for a nice halloween for trick or treaters. It is a perfect halloween night for them but we have to get through the daytoday and then also wind tonight and tomorrow morning. So that is kind of a messy situation. That is right. Silver lining. We have to deal witt today but , at lee for trick or treating, you know, it will look good. Much better. Yes, and we have to deal with mother nature, and the eagles and 49ers game. Yes, but, all right. Chelsea, thank you. Thank you for watching that is Eyewitness News for now, we may be signing off, but we are always on line at cbs philly.
