Were talking fine cigars, fancy watches, pricey restaurants, and expensive wines all to charm the type of folks who helped him raise your taxes 145 times. Too many in south jersey are struggling. But steve sweeneys looking out for himself, not for us. Katie i think ill attempt to run today. Good for you. Hopefully the rain stays aw away. All in all ill bet youll be type. Even if you get hit its by a light shower or sprinkle. We had steady rain earl elli on. When had to drive in when its it was at its worse. Thats starting to wind down. Problem were in Holding Pattern right now not going to break out on for a couple of days. Dont expect a ton of sunshine unfortunately. Its going to take little bit of time here. Ill explain why. As we go outside, were finding still a little hint of activity on the radar butt far cry from what we had early this morning pretty steady rainfall that has long since made its departure actually moving out to sea but you cant really go by that. Because heres the thing. Got a large dome of High Pressure off on the northeast that because its so much more powerful than this weakening area of low pressure dictating the pattern its keeping our flow very much on shore that means youll keep the clouds. Keep the cool air in place at least initially and also going to keep potential for a couple of showers along the way. Things is really cleared out pretty nicely since earlier this morning. Absolutely. But upping again its not all completely clear as we move forward in this forecast the next two days. Down in North Carolina by the way maybe a thunder shower forkl in all looks pretty quiet. Coastal flood advisory actually has just gone into effect for all of the area shore points in delaware as well as up and down the jersey shore line. And thats just because again you have this hahn shore flow thats helping to push the waves on shore were coming up on high tide in about an hour and change and between about the hours of 1 30 and 2 30 well see the wave heights out there at least the tide coming at its height. The temperature change in the meantime is definitely noticeable. We were still relatively mild early this morning but we havent rebounded that much from that point now that were at noontime and yesterday we were well into the 70s in a lot of spots, yeah, a lot cooler and in terms of how that relates to the thermometer, a couple of spots to look at here, 63 in atlantic city. 62 here in philly. Not terribly far off from where we should be. We normally would be at about 67, 68 for a high. We should have maybe thee more these up our sleeves before its all said and done 50 up at mount pocono. Notice the wind flow sustained winds pretty noticeable at 21 miles an hour currently. So much so that yeah right on queue the camera starts to shake on you across the delaware the center city skyline at least you can make out the skyline at this point it was very very dreary this morning and very much stuck in the clouds. But this shot what a dreary day at the shore. And notice again that water is really starting to push up pretty high. Were coming up on high tide. Its the very windy especially at the area shore points youll notice in pretty much anywhere its at its worst at the immediate shore line. Now walking through the rhett of this afternoon as i mentioned probably got three additional degrees up our sleeves thats about it technically our daytime high will officially go into the books as 67 but we hit that basically after midnight. So a lot of time has passed a chance to cool off we just dont rebound beyond this point. Scattered showers in the men time are still out there. But i really think that, you know, for the most part we should garage watchly clear out eat later on tonight. Now tomorrow different story. Saturday different story. But quick check on that eagles forecast for you here for thursday night football. 77 at kickoff. Again there could be thunder shower in the area but i really dont think weather will have any kind of major roll in how it impacts the game here tonight. Now looking forward in this forecast, were expecting the daytime high to reach the upper 70s this saturday and then were all the way into the 80s come sunday nice warm day with sunshine but that night knew front comes along and that bring in new round of showers.
