Storm scan three shows us reason for these cloud, it is jose, no longer a hurricane, or a tropical storm. It is now a post Tropical Cyclone, still hanging out though we just cant get rid of jose. Is there circulation around that low, not much with it, just a few showers over new england and those cloud and a nice northern breeze, for us, that breeze made it feel not quite as bad out there today especially in the shade. Temperatures right now 81 degrees in the city. Eightyone in trenton. Seventynine in reading. Cooler mid 70s down the shore , beautiful night to be outside. Notice how hot off to the west still in the 90s in minneapolis, chicago and st. Louis and some of that heat under the big ridge of High Pressure is building this way. You can start to see where a cool front lurks over the dakotas and that will eventually get here next week and it will cut back the heat but in the meantime were talking about temperatures really climbing, todays official high was 83 degrees as forecasted, 86 the high tomorrow, 90s sunday and monday and back to the mid 80 s on tuesday. So sunday and monday thinks hot spell will peak for us. Current dew point is 56 degrees, that put us in the pleasant to not bad range outside. Not that bad at all. But it will get worse. That is the problem, we can deal with heat if it doesnt to have come hand and hand with humidity, but, tomorrow we will keep you in the 50s, still in the not bad range, sunday back in the humid, with dew points in the mid 60s and by monday dew points climbing in the upper 60s just on the borderline of oppressive. Quick look, category three hurricane and heres the latest track, due north, start to curve out to sea. Trying to buckle back toward the coast but that cold front, next week will help sweep that further out to sea, and, does look like a east coast land fall is unlikely. Cone of concern still does touch coast so cannot be ruled out completely. Mainly clear, warm, quiet, tomorrow, sunny, warm, 86 is our daytime high but humidity ramps up. Kick off temperature is 89 degrees and may briefly spike in the lower 90s during the course of the game, it is going to be sweltering out there, at the link. Hot and humid as well, tuesday still warm, still 80s wednesday and thursday, but finally by friday we will start to cool it down, and hopefully that means a trend toward some milder, fall weather.
