All right, so, here we go. Hurricane jose. Still churning right now off shore. It is expected to bring in some rain, pretty decent winds to the immediate shore. But you know, this is one of those stories where the further inland you go, it is all about location. The further inland you go, the much quieter it will be. Likely have at least a little breeze certainly in the far western suburbs outside of philadelphia. But you may stay totally dry, with hurricane barreling up the eastern seaboard, so this is just, again, one of those storms where it is all about the placement of the storm, and the impact that comes along with it are very much localized. A bands every rain is right now, working its way pretty close to cape may, Atlantic County so probably going to be clipping down toward sussex county, as well. But in the, just basically clear, the further inland you go. And granted it is a little steamy outside, certainly little humid. But it is not too bad. Now our winds speeds are noticeable. They could be heck of a lot worse right now. Certainly finds them at their strongest at the shore points, throughout the day, as the storm makes it closest pass through our area, but talking about in the city of philadelphia, couple of showers, you know, the umbrella is not the worse idea , but wont be getting drenched here in the city today. At the shore likely periods of time where there is steady rain that comes, in but i dont think will happen at least early this morning, mainly through the second half of the day, that we see that, in the poconos, meisha, i think actually stay dry today. Good for everyone in the poconos, even in the city, good news, as well. Katie, thank you so much. And good morning, so, we have construction crews, breitbart and early this morning, still out there here in bucks county , 59 both directions northbound between route one and route 332, also, southbound, route one, and business route one, will be affected between those two stretches. So again, construction crews out there, still very dark, just take it easy around them. The vine, it was closed overnight for the construction , look like it is opening now between the schuylkill and broad westbound toward the schuylkill, looking good, eastbound, thumbsup, now starting to open right now schuylkill at the boulevard, just want to give you kinds of pretty birdseye shot of. This tail light moving in the eastbound direction, headlight of course moving in the westbound direction. Looking good, both directions, but starting to see more and more vehicles hit that. Hit the roadways, betsy ross, one lane blocked in each direct. Jim, natasha, back over to you thank you shall meisha. Good morning, alicia. Reporter good morning, natasha, jim. On the way up here from philadelphia, we have some rainfall, but right now we are feeling more than a noticeable breeze. Certainly feeling some of the wind gusts, and some of the winds from hurricane jose out in the atlantic. I want to point your attention over to the ocean. Seeing some significant waves. Those waves are expected to get bigger throughout the day as jose inches closer to us. We dont expect the hurricane to make landfall here but trending close enough in the atlantic for the jersey shore to now really start feeling some of this force from this hurricane. The brunt of the force expected this morning through mid to late afternoon, so shore points from atlantic city, to cape may, are looking at hours of some really rough surf, like were seeing now, and enough to cause some coastal errosion, we see some that far happen already. But also enough to possibly cause some coastal flooding. Now, there could be wind gusts upwards of 40 Miles Per Hour, feeling some of that now, and that is just todays effect from jose. But throughout the week really looking at some dangerous water, rip currents, caused by jose, but still, by some of the other storms that are brewing behind it.
