As investigation continues, Authorities Say it does not appear that alcohol was a factor in the crash that killed three twoyear old rafael ali. However police say speed may have been a factor. Ali, a single father of two, crashed in the tree saturday night on the 6,000 block of henry avenue. Philadelphia police need your help identifying a man caught on camera robbing a pizza hut. Reporter summer crowds in full swing on 12th street in ocean city as life guards, somewhat challenging ocean conditions. The reassuring sound of the whistle is fainter for those parking on 13th street. The life guard stand is down there and green swim flags are replaced with red caution once replaced and catching people off guard. We expect there to be a life guard but i didnt realize it. Reporter unfortunately even life guard have to go back to school and short on staff Ocean City Beach patrol made their first round of beach closures monday. Eleven guarded beaches are closed in various spots from the north end to south of 59th street. We know it is inconvenience but at the same time we dont have enough people to keep every beach opened as long as we want to. So with that we still have over 38 beaches opened. Reporter summer wind down, beach patrol beginning close more guarded beaches. More responsibility falls on sun bathers for their own safety. Check weather conditions. Check before you come to the shore which street still has life guard. We recommend swim in front of the guarded beach. If you choose not to make sure you are being vigilant about water conditions and never think it might be okay, always lay on the side of caution. Cape may county Historical Society bought this home for 200,000 for a decade ago. They were going to turn the bay shore road property into a museum but budget cuts forced them to abandoned the plan. Buyer has purchased the land but has no interest in preserving the house. Wed like to have the house saved, and someone move it to another location so it is not demolished. There are not many left. They were all just demolished as buildings came along and they werent thought of as saving. The home was built in the 1720s and estimated cost for buyer to move the home is about 50,000.
