Police located a bus that may have killed a pedestrian, walking outside of the Police Headquarters. Reporter that is right, ukee a tour bus suspected in a fatal hit and run has been recovered by police. Right now investigators are speaking with the bus driver. Accident about 50 feet and then left the scene. Reporter Police Recovered tour bus expected in the fatal hit and run. They are asking the bus driver, why he did not stop, after allegedly hitting a man and then dragging him several feet. But it is a possibility the driver didnt know what happened. The driver, or someone in the bus didnt realize they struck something or somebody. Reporter the 48 yearold victim was walking in the credits walk of franklin and race street, across from Police Headquarters a little before ten tuesday morning. Pedestrian or bus was going in the same direction going east. Pedestrian is halfway through the crosswalk when the bus making the turn, left turn, ran over the pedestrian. Reporter suspect bus was heading to washington d. C. But Police Recover it and new they are examining it in a south philadelphia lot. We have officers down there inspecting the the bus, talking the two driver and trying to get the more information to piece this together. Reporter police said it originated from chinatown and was in the speeding when making the turn. It is in the clear if there passengers on the bus. Victim from south philadelphia was rush to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police say he had the right of way, crossing in the crosswalk but he may have been distract. This is suspect michael riveria, facing first degree murder charge as well as a charge of arson. His mother was found dead following a fire at harbor house apartment in claymont apartments in december. Riveria is in prison for assault and resisting arrest. He is currently incarcerated in pennsylvania but a criminal trial pending in pennsylvania charges. Once that trial is complete, we will extradited to delaware. Good news is once they clear shore points the worst is over and we can get back to nice weather for rest of the week. Lets look outside and see is what happening. We will start with the city where we are seeing sunshine. A few cloud building in. There air i few sprinkles developing on the back edge of the front. Still a few stray showers popping up across bucks, montgomery counties. Cannot rule out stray shower in the city but in the a bad looking evening. I want to take to you time lapse video. This is how day shook out in Rehoboth Beach and start off this morning where you can seaboard walk was completely soak. We had showers coming will through, not a good start to the day in Rehoboth Beach. Here from 7 miles, on south, and into the delaware beaches. That is where we will get soaked here in the next ten to 15 minutes. We can see up here to the north, we still have heavy rain in portions of burlington, and ocean counties. As far as how much rain has fallen, we have heavy rain here across burlington county. Some spots with over an inch of rain. 91 in hammington, 1. 11 inches in millville. Cooler air in the wake of these storms, we have jumped backup to 80 in millville and back to 79 in philadelphia still warm, 81 in cape may. That will in the last much longer. Good news is front clears the coast tonight, tomorrow is partly sunny, nice day with sunshine returning, thursday, looks sunny and nice, and friday, looking good as well. We will keep an eye on the front to the north. It should stay to the north of us. Lets talk again about the persaid, moving through quickly last time. I want to take a close lear here.
