Natasha brown is live outside Police Headquarters with the latest on this investigation. Natasha . Reporter jessica neighbors tell us about the vick toy. They say she garaged in june. She kept to herself all the time. She was very quite. Never bothered anyone which leads police with the question who want to kill her and why . Its just sad because she was a very quiet to herself person. Reporter shocked and saddened neighbors had nothing but kind words for the 27yearold woman found dead inside her third floor apartment in the 200 block of south 50th street. Keith hooks describes a quiet, pleasant unassuming young woman now the victim of an apparent homicide. Its hurting me just to know its right next door and to happen to that person who didnt bother a soul. She was in her third floor apartment in the front bedroom laying on the bed. Appears she was severely beaten and possibly strangled. She was pronounced on the scene. Reporter homicide detectives identified the victim as 27 year odd jasmine wright. Drexel University Officials confirm she was a 2015 graduate of Drexel School of public health. Police now left with the mystery of who would kill the recent graduate and why. It was secure building. It was its three apartments in the building. She lived on the top floor. Its two other tenants below her. But its very secure facility you need a key to get in downstairs and to get into her apartment. Reporter nathan marlo and his wife lived in the neighbor less than year. Never fearful of their safety. Never worried. I mean i walk around late at night all the time. Just with working late and coming home late i never worried at all. Im really upset about this. I have my grandchildren, you know, and the neighborhood is pretty good. You know, we sit out and, you know, the kids run and they play here. So, yeah this is really surprising. Startle thed longtime neighbors are used to seeing students blending into the neighbor. No one want to go ever get used to seeing this kind of tragedy so close to home. She was very nice girl. She would just come and go and its sad. Its sad. Too close to home. Reporter well homicide detectives are vigorously follow following leads and interviewing witnesses at this hour. Right now were learning new details about the gunman who targeted a recruiting center and a reserve center in that area. Witnesses say a lone gunman in a silver mustang convertible drove up to this chatanooga Armed Forces Office and opened fire. The shoe reappeared minutes later at a Training Facility 7 miles away where he rammed his car through a gate and killed four marines and injured two others the gunman identified as 24yearold Muhammed Youseff Abdulazeez died in a shootout with police. They arrived on the scene extremely quickly and they actively and enthusiastic klee engaged this brazen criminal. Authorities swarmed his home within hours. Fbi says hes a naturalized u. S. Citizen born in kuwait but lived with his family here in the area. They do not though why he targeted the military in his assault. Look at his friends family, his associates. Anybody who is associated with him to determine the cause or the reason why he conduct this attack. People visiting a make shift memorial tried to make sense of the tragedy. The message is simple. Why would you hurt your own protectors . Officials say abdulazeez was not on any us terror list and the fbi was not aware of any terrorists leanings. The department of defense has increased security at certain federal facilities in abundance of caution as the investigation moves forward. Well tonight a jury found the colorado Movie Theater massacre gunman guilty of murder. James holmes stood silently as the judge read the guilty verdicts on all 165 counts. 12 people were killed and 70 others were injured at a Movie Theater in aurora, colorado just outside of denver. Monday mark the third anniversary of the attack. The jury deliberated for 13 hours over two days before rejecting the 27 year olds Mental Illness defense. Holmes faces the Death Penalty when the sentenceing phase begins next wednesday. Detectives are investigating tonight after police exchanged gunfire with the suspect wanted in Grocery Store robbery. Reporter jessica that robbery suspect is in Critical Condition tonight after police say he walk into that Grocery Store announce add robbery and pulled a gun on the clerk. Police say around 7 00 oclock tonight at the corner of 64th and mark streets in millbourne the suspect walked into this corner Grocery Store and showed a gun and announceing a robbery. He emptied the Cash Register and left. Thats when the owner called police. Police say moments later suspect was walking towards the 63rd street Station Police stopped him and he pulled a gun. Two millbourne Police Officers fired on the suspect and he shot back. Evidence markers show where the bullet casings fell. Police say the suspect fled toward the 63rd street station throwing a gun in the woods. Police apprehended him on the corner. He had a gunshot wound to the chest and abdomen area. Money and clothing are still on the ground. Police took the man to penn presbyterian hospital. County police are now taking over the investigation. And we did speak with several witnesses tonight who did not want to be identified. They said they did see the suspect firing as he was running away from police earlier this evening. The fbi confirms five recent Bank Robberies in northeast philadelphia may all be connected. The latest hold up happened today in somerton just before 1 00 p. M. At the Citizens Bank park on the 1100 block of roosevelt boulevard. Police say the robber was a woman dressed in full female muslim clothing. And fbi spokesman tells Eyewitness News they do believe this incident is connected to a recent string of similar robberies in the northeast. Each time the bank robber worn muslim clothing. This concerns us obviously anybody in such a short period of time just since the beginning of june this many robberies although a weapon has not been displayed, she threatens violence. The fbi says two of the banks were inside supermarkets. The other three were stand alone branches. Tonight the teenaged girl who walked away from plain crash in Washington State is speaking about that traumatic ordeal. 16yearold autumn was the only survivor. She was flying with her step grandparents when they hit bad weather saturday. The plane crashed into the mountainside and burst into flames. She talked about the final moment she saw her step grandparents alive. We saw nothing. We couldnt see a thing and grandpa he was he was kind of panicking. We couldnt get the gps to work and, um, then he said that he was just going to try to fly up. He started to go up and we just i just we didnt see anything until we saw trees.
