Police are investigating a homicide in north philadelphia, a man was found shot to death in the 3400 block of prowl street, and investigators tell thaws man was shot multiple times in the torso and that bloody footprints were left behind at that scene. Police have have no details on the shooter but there are reports a gold van was seen fleeing that area. Police are investigating another homicide in the grays ferry neighborhood, investigators tell us that the 35 yearold man was shot in the head while sitting on the playground, now the the shooting happened in the 1200 block of south 30th street just before 2 00 this morning. He died at the scene. Well, search continues this in morning for a man who sexually assaulted a woman on a philadelphia golf course. It is disturbing to hear that news, obviously. Reporter just hours earlier it looked like this, Philadelphia Police on the scene at Cobbs Creek Golf Club after allegations of a heinous act. Police say here, a 26 yearold woman reported being sexually assaulted early saturday morning. The the report says that the woman was walking to work at about 3 30 saturday morning south, on cardington street when she passed a man walking in the opposite direction. Police say that the man spins around, gets behind her grabs her arm and drags her on to the course, behind a line of trees, where the the assault takes place. Yeah, when you hear a story like this, it makes you kind of think. Reporter havertown resident Kevin Calvert brought his two sons to the course saturday. He calls the crime terrible but it is not symptomatic of the municipal grounds or the area. This is something that has nothing to do with the golf course but it is a problem with the community and that hopefully, you know, the purpose traitor is caught. For years naacp boycotted state the of the South Carolina displayed the confederate battle flag on state ground but on saturday it a applauded the state for permanently removing the flag from public spaces, including its State Capitol. For 15 years the naacp boycotted the state of South Carolina for its insistence on flying confederate battle flag on the ground of the State Capitol in columbia. Group called the flag a symbol of hate, oppression and murder and in the past weeks it sparks divisive protest after a white gunman murdered nine black members of the Historic Church in charleston. But on friday, the South Carolina legislature permanently removed the battle flag from state grounds. Governor nicki haley uses using nine pens to sign the bill symbolizes the nine lives lost.
