Ghana legend Kwadwo Asamoah has opened the door to a possible return to his homeland at some point in the future.
Asamoah, 32, is currently a free agent after parting ways with Inter Milan in October and has been training alone over the past few months while contemplating his next move.
In a recent interview with
BBC Sport, the former Udinese and Juventus star admitted he is open to a return to Ghana but added that such a move will only come later in his career.
"In the future, I won't mind going there and play football, but this is not the right time for me to do so," the versatile midfielder said. "I have quite a few years ahead of me to play in Europe before considering such a move."
