Skills. His stage was often pier 39, in san francisco. I see a man that loved his craft. Jordan was very happy and bringing smiles to other peoples lives and their faces. But that joy with which jordan lived his life suddenly ended on november 25th, 2022. He was found dead in the driveway of the Apartment Building in the Diamond Heights neighborhood, where he lived with his longtime girlfriend, sarah buchanan. She had stabbed him once near the chest. Buchanan was convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter last month, and sentenced to three years, but shes expected to be released next month with credit for time served. Theyre shocked too, so im still working through that. Buchanan will be free less than two years after killing jordan, her attorney released a statement which said in part, the verdict was both fair and just because it was based on the applicable law and relevant evidence presented at the trial. I want to expose and share that the Legal Process is not fair and just simpler, says there was no black juror in the trial and she says there were crucial evidence and witnesses ruled inadmissible. The District Attorneys Office said in part, we take each case seriously and put on the best case we can based on the facts, evidence and the law to meet our burden of proof. In this case, we sought a conviction for murder, and the jury returned a conviction of Involuntary Manslaughter. There is a great issue with men that suffer with domestic violence, but its something thats not visible. Or its not, focused on. Sempler says her brother suffered from emotional and physical abuse in his ten year relationship with buchanan, according to court documents. Jordan came home drunk, woke buchanan up and called her derogatory names. She said she lunged at him with a knife to scare him, an account that sampler says doesnt tell the whole story. There is this, this this emotion, this feeling of wanting to persist, to just persist, to fight. Sempler tells me shes frustrated and will fight for justice. Denied to her brother, jordan buchanan is expected to be released june 14th. At her next court hearing, sempler says the family will take action, including filing a civil lawsuit against buchanan. Weve got some nice weather to talk about. This whole week is going to be super nice. Weve got temperatures that increased a little today. Theyre going to increase more tomorrow. These are the highs from today. And then highs tomorrow will eclipse these by a good 5 to 8 degrees. So a warmer day tomorrow. And then as we get into thursday and friday we could see temperatures into the low 90s. And our very warmest inland locations. So well see how that works out. But in the meantime weve got a good summer weather pattern coming our way. There is no fog at the coast because the winds are so theyve been blowing so briskly the last few days, but theres a lot of north in the wind, and so that kind of chews up the fog and pushes it down the coast. And thats kind of where we are now. Fog will probably return by the time we get to the weekend, but in the meantime, its steady as she goes. And thats going to allow coastal temperatures to get into the 60s, for sure. So its going to be just a nice week ahead. The swells are small if you do go out to the beaches because theres no fog. Just be aware that the rip currents are still nasty. Even the swell is not that big. Theres the wind advisory that goes into effect as we go into the evening hours tonight through tomorrow morning, and we might even see it get hoisted up again for thursday morning. Well see. But thats the general area of the strongest winds, 40 to 50 miles an hour out of the north. So see how its coming down out of the valley . The plan is dry. Conditions here and in the mountains. Breezy conditions. The next 24 to 36 hours in temperatures that are about as warm as weve seen for a little while, not so much. Tomorrow but as we get into thursday and friday, were going to see mid 80s, upper 80s, even low 90s possible. So its a good weather pattern. I think the plan for allergy sufferers would be to get the keep the allergist or whatever you use, keep it closed because this whole week is going to be driven by warmer, higher temperatures or higher temperatures and then the wind and that the tree pollens and now grasses and weeds are starting to come on as well. So theres a five day forecast. You can see minor cooling on sunday for mothers day. But overall a really, really, really, really nice weather pattern. Ill see you back here tomorrow night. All right. Sounds good bill. Thank you. New at 11 Antioch Police shared these photos today of a package thief caught on camera.
