Now, these are pictures we have for you. The Fire Department confirms their crews responded to that scene because of a traumatic injury. That person has been rushed to the hospital now. Police just cleared the scene moments ago, but there are still several evidence markers on the street there. We tried to contact the San Francisco police to get an update on everything. It lands in a parking lot here at sfo and it was all caught on video. So the video that we have shows you it taking off and then the wheel just immediately comes off. Now we have that video because a professional planes spotter was broadcasting live on his Youtube Channel at the time, and he saw it all happen. He called it the craziest thing hes seen. He says the after that wheel comes off. Passengers on boards say they were unaware of what happened until they saw the plane was dumping fuel after flying in circles for a while, the flight was eventually rerouted to lax. Now an Aviation Industry safety expert we spoke to says there was not a risk to passengers because this plane can land with a missing or a damaged wheel, but thereuare still a lot of questions that federal investigators will be asking now. Theyll be looking to try to figure out quickly. On interstate 580, the body of a woman shot several times was found in an apartment near Creekside Park in pleasanton. A black sedan seen leaving that shooting scene was tracked by the police. Theucar slammed into a median on the shoulder of westbound 580. Both directions of the freeway were shut down by the chp. The police were telling everybody up here, please move out the way a little bit just in case, because they were going to be letting off both shots and gas. Now that car was surrounded by Law Enforcement. But then the man in the car shot and killed himself. As the investigation goes on, the police want to know the connection between the man and the car and the woman whose body was found in the apartment. Now, under the plea deal, danaj will also have to repay 317,000 to the city of fremont and serve two years probation. ua dramatic increase in fires caused by lithium ion batteries has prompted new fire codes in San Francisco. This applies to multifamily homes and businesses where powered mobility devices such as electric bikes, scooters, hoverboards and skateboards are charged. When these batteries overheat, they can cause explosions and dangerous fires that spread rapidly. Lithium ion battery fires have increased dramatically in San Francisco, causing death, serious injury, and property damage. The new fire code will require personal mobility devices to be safety certified, and they must now be plugged directly into a wall while charging. Those in charge of this restoration project say their main goal 100 year old Movie Theater. We want to preserve the sense of the place so that when people come back in, it will be new and itll be a surprise and itll be preserve that sense of place that people identify with. This restoration work will transform the old Movie Theater on castro street into a multipurpose entertainment center, projectuorganizers say. Many people in San Francisco and spbeyond feel the castro is much more than just a theater. We know that this is gatherie in the country, if not the world, and we want that community to come here and feel like their palace well, work crl eventually remove the theaters fixed seats and replace them with motorized platforms that will allow the theater to temporarily remove seats at any time, so there will be more room for concerts and other live events. The people behind a new proposed city in solano county, california, forever have released a new map of their plans and the firstutv ad for the project Developers Say they want to build a city that would include 20,000 new homes near Travis Air Force base. If you, the american people, send me a congress to choose, i promise you i will restore roe v wade as the law of the land again. President biden also said his administration has helped the United States reach e pandemic. Alabama senator katie britt delivered the republican response to President Bidens state of the union. Senator britt is 42 years old, a mother of two. She presented a sharp contrast to President Bidens address. She spoke while seated at her kitchen table. Its unacceptable for the world, and i think he needs to the United States to, bring an end to this so that a diplomatic path, a political path, can be put forth that ultimately would lead to a two state solution and for peace and security for the israelis and the palestinian people. Also sense of optimism and enthusiasm among democrats in the chamber for the president s speech. San jose residents are weighing in on their hopes for the citys next police chief. Last night, the city kicked off a series of Community Meetings with a gathering at the edenvale community center. City leaders say these meetings will play a Critical Role in the process to replace chief anthony mata, who will retire at the end of the month. To accommodate that high volume of students that go across that crosswalk. Now, 225 parents signed a petition calling for a three otr suggestions include reducing the speed limits through that intersection. Cupertino Safety Advocates say the city added more Safety Measures at other schools, like monta vista high and kennedy middle school, that have similar the city is choosing not to put a stop sign, and they are choosing that they would rather not slow down cars for a few seconds to stop at the stop sign, to let kids through, theyre prioritizing that over the safety of our summarize it o be a collective voice. Its science and its art. San franciscos historic castro theater is undergoing the first phase of restoration. The frame of the movie screen now exposed. There is scaffolding bg the old with the new and revealing the stories that are trying to get out. Stories that jeff green, help reveal during the work. To preserve the art in the original architecture by timothy pflueger, who designed the theater, green brought us 35ft up a scaffolding to get a close up look at the condition of the ceiling and walls. We cleaned this fellow today. The first phase involves assessing and peeling back the layers of dirt and nicotine from years of people smoking toc show the original artwork, there are some surprises. Theres two huge dragons here. Theres a circular dragons in every single one of these panels. An asian motif blended with cherubs. Green says that many items can be restored, but some features such as tassels that are missing, will need to be replicated, and all the original paint on the ceiling there. The final phase of the restoration will be the stage and putting in a new lift for the organ. Green says the core of his mission is to recapture the magic of this theater. Itll be new and itll be a surprise, and itll be as it was originally. But preserve that sense of place that people identify with. Mary condie with another planet, the companyt which runs the theater for the family who ownsc it, is overseeing this project. She estimates the restoration will cost more than 15 million. We know that this is the most important lgbtq Gathering Place in the country, if not the world, and we want that community to come here and feel like their palace has been restored. Green estimates that the restoration work up here with the ceiling and the walls will be done in six months.
