The police offered to assist the 18 Year Old Party host in asking people to leave, but she declined their offer and they took off. A short■ time later, 0 to 30 young people tried to get in the front door. It was locked. Some entered the backyard by a gate on the side of the house. Williams jumped into action, helping two of the boys trying to stop the bleeding. I applied the tourniquet to him as everybodys panicking and i wasd and i said, just control your breathing. A 16 year old boy died on scene. You could just see his life slowly going away. And he was like, i seen hi last breath, which was which hurts me on the inside because i got a son thats that close in age. Dozens of teens ran from the house when the shots rang out. Thought it was just■d the two right here. But then come to find out it was two other people that two other kids that had got shot down that was do there. Another gunshot victim over here. Neighbors told us the scene was chaotic and scary. This block has a lot of kids and families and theyre sad. Gun violence in their community took a teens life. Oakley Police Report this is an active investigation. They believe there was only one shooter who seems to be still at large. As for Video Surveillance cameras, they were up on many homes in the area and police are asking for neighbors to cooperate in providing them anything that they have. Alice wurtz, ktvu fox two news homicide investigators say a 30 year old woman was fatally shot last night while driving in east oakland. She was found suffering from gunshot wounds after crashing the car. Happened just before 9 00 on international boulevard near 82nd avenue. This video was shared on social media. The victims name has not been released, and so far police have made no arrests. Oakland police are searching for a missing woman who may be at risk due to Mental Health challenges. Police say they are trying to find 46 year old leila marie givens. She was last seen on friday on the 9800 block of plymouth street in the ivy wood neighborhood. Givens is described as five foot six, about 350 pounds, and has blond hair and blue eyes. If you have any information on her whereabouts. Oakland police say please contact their missing persons unit. Police wrote up some ten citations, including one for hit and run driving as well as arresting two people for possession of guns. Three vehicles were alsompounded and three people have been sent to the hospital after a teenager who has been pursued by chp for speeding crashed into an suv up in the north bay in santa rosa. An 18 year old male whose license says will run tried to flee after a chp officer tried to initiate an enforcement stop for speeding. A teen drove off at speeds over 100mph. That resulted in a crash at mendocino drive when the teen tried to pass an suv using the center median, two adults, adults and one child were sent to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries. 18 year old is now in custody, booked on multiple felony charges. Today marks ten years since Sonoma County sheriffs deputy shot and killed 13 year old andy lopez. The teenager was walking down the street carrying a toy rifle. And that vigil taking place at the spot where andy was shot and killed ten years ago. Now a park named in his honor family, friends and the community of santa rosa coming together to remember him and honor his memory with continued calls for justice. A ceremony sunday to honor the life of 13 year old andy lopez. I am only a mother in sole in grief who died along with her son Community Activist susan lamont, speaking on behalf of and killed by a Sonoma County sheriffs deputy ten years ago to the day in santa rosa. I want to make a special appreciation to all those people who since day number one, have been in the struggle for the justice of my beloved son, andy. It was october 2013 when deputies on patrol spotted the teen walking in a vacant lot carrying an airsoft pellet gun, a toy rifle with sheriffs officials later said resembled an Assault Rifle and he was shot by Deputy Erick Gelhaus seven times. To remember andy lopez is to honor and remember the fact that theres still a lot of work to do. Santa rosa School Board Member omar medina among those taking to the streets to protest the shooting after the countys da at the time decided not to charge gelhaus called his death tragic but lawful. The lopez fa later settling a civil lawsuit with the county for 3 million. Gelhaus was later promoted, then retired with a pension. At sundays vigil, andys father addressing those attending with lamont, translating my intention is to make you wake up and open your eyes and know that there is really no justice. This in 2013, under pressure from andys family and the community, a special task force was created to develop Law Enforcement reforms and accountability. City and the lot where he was killed later turned into a park. Still the message from andys family remains is never a mistake. A park for justice. And we reached out to the Sonoma CountySheriffs Office for a statement. They say that that it was a trying time for a community. Since then, there have been numerous changes in Sheriffs Office policy. In addition, the Sheriffs Office has implemented several programs for Outreach Community engagement and transparency that allow us to serve our community better. They really often double and triple rainfall accumulations from elsewhere in the bay. So these were the highs from today. It was kind of a mild warm day, if you will. Highs tomorrow are going to be a little bit warmer. We got more sunshine tomorrow. You knew that. And weve got the showers that will have ended there. Still scattered showers and sprinkles out there. Mostly just drizzle that is going to be died down by tomorrow mning. But the roads might still be a little wet. And on top of that valley fog thing, as we get into this time of year, with the longer nights, cooler nights, the valley and the wet ground valley fog is potentiality. So if you live in one of those valley prone areas, penngrove some of those areas in the north bay, be prepared for that. And then theres the system as it kind of wobbles out of here. And you can see most of the activity now to the east of us, a few scattered showers, kind of looks like a Little Something kind of over here around richmond.
