Nice to warm system stays north could be a few clouds to the north but overall were looking good today with 70s and 80s sal is here unfortunately has too much to talk about. He will begin with 880. Steve trying to catch a flight at oakland airport. You know, its going to be tough getting out from downtown on 880 south. Its very tough commute because of a crash south north of high overturned vehicle theyre clearing it now but the damage is done on the freeway southbound 880 and i would say eastbound 580 is your best bet. Well, President Biden is preparing for a very busy day today in San Francisco. Ktvu is Amanda Quintana is at San Franciscos Fairmont Hotel where the president is staying and you have some details of his schedule. Good morning, amanda. Good morning, dave. Its a pretty short stop here in San Francisco. So for the president , he arrived here at the fairmont last night around 8 00, but then he heads to phenix and thats at 630 tonight. So it is a quick stop, but it could mean a lot of money for his campaign. He has a busy day this morning. He has a meeting scheduled with his council of advisors on science and technology. They helped develop recommendations on policy surrounding tech and innovation. Then the president has to Campaign Fundraising receptions. Thats this afternoon. He also had a fundraiser in atherton before coming here to the city last night. Tickets to that fundraiser range. From 5000 to 100,000. I think its great. And we have a lot of people who are very generous in this area. Certainly the San Francisco bay area, Silicon Valley, one of the most progressive of areas in the country. We have a lot of deep pocketed donors here. You throw in hollywood on top of that. And you know, california is a very attractive place to come. And schmooze and raise those campaign dollars. This is bidens second time here in the bay area in just three months. He arrived at Moffett Field yesterday, greeted by Santa Clara County board president Susan Ellenberg and the Deputy Director of the nasa Ames Research center, dr. David kazmaier. Now, if you are planning on coming anywhere here around the fairmont, you should be aware that it is blocked off about two blocks in each direction. Theres a Large Police Presence here, so it is going to be difficult. Youre going to have to go around here also. So if youre headed towards sfo, you might see the motorcade on its way for his flight at 630 tonight. But that could also cause some traffic backups if youre going to be in that area as well. Live in San Francisco, Amanda Quintana, ktvu fox two news. Amanda thank you. A new poll shows many californians havent decided who theyll support in the race for dianne feinstein. Senate seat. The Drug Screening and treatment programs would be funded by the city. The executive director of the San FranciscoHuman Services agency says the program is meant to encourage people to seek help. Part of that incentive would be you will continue to receive cash upwards of 690, 687 a month should you engage in treatment if you decide not to, or if you decide not even to be assessed or screened, you would lose that 687 out of cash assistance from the city.
