This comes as some airline employees and autoworkers are getting ready to strike back. Were all fighting corporate greed. The record setting revenues yet we are still here without a contract, you cant make 21 billion in profits in half a year and expect members to take a mediocre contract. It appears Union Membership is rising as well. Last year, more than 16 million workers in the us were represented by a union. That number is up 200,000 from 2021. The hollywood actors strike also continues. This labor day. Ktvu is la monica. Peters spoke to striking sagaftra members based in the bay area who say this is a pivotal movement. Oakland based union actor Michael Summer says he hopes Screen Actors Guild negotiators will stand firm in their talks with producers in hollywood. Since july, union actors have been on strike over the use of Ai Technology with their images and how theyll be paid for future use. Maybe its been a small paycheck, but get something. Writers in hollywood also went on strike in may. And now new development and promotion of content has been brought to a halt. But if you can see this little spinner right here, see that little flow . Thats a little low pressure center. Thats thats basically brought us this kind of mild weather pattern. The model leaves goes through the whole week, but it just keeps a trough off shore. I showed you that earlier in the 10 00 broadcast. So this is all the way through saturday and into sunday. Monday, it changes. I know you didnt pick up on all that, but thats seven days of weather in the basic idea of it is, is that trough the cool component mechanism to the weather is going to hang off our coast or right over the top of us pretty much this entire week which means more temperatures like these which are fine with me not im sure its fine with you too. I mean, its not too hot. Were not. The air quality was unreal today. Plenty, plenty of greens. Last week at this time, we were looking at reds and yellows with the smoke from the smith complex up in northern california. But that pattern, that little spin i was showing you going this way, thats enough to get things going. It lifts the marine layer, lifts the atmosphere and starts pushing winds out of the west. So we do have winds out of the west now. Its not crazy blowing hard up in the in the delta or anything like that. But 25, 26 miles an hour, most areas are around ten miles an hour. Temperatures are about the same as they were last night. Heres tomorrow morning. Theres the fog and its all the way they say its all the way into livermore. Im not not sure its going to go that far, but theres going to be fog in a lot of around the bay in the morning and burns off slow oranges are 80s reds are 90s and you see theyre pushed back, which is again kind of were heading into fall. And so this is the kind of pattern you would expect to see in these temperatures are pretty much fall like temperatures. As a matter of fact, this whole weekend to me felt it did feel a lot like october, middle of october, end of october. So were not that far off. So 89 and fairfield, 86 in antioch, these are the tomorrows forecast highs and then the five day forecast, which i just look at the top tier numbers, thats those are the hotspots, right . So in this case, lets call it livermore. So livermore is going to be 87 on friday. It starts to warm up on saturday and sunday in back into the low 90s. But its not a heat wave. Its just kind of a mild pattern. So it looks like a good one. Cal fire likes it. I like it. I hope you like it. Ill see you back here. All right, bill. Thank you. Some of them werent like as hard to get rid of, but there were a couple of them that i really like kind of felt bad about giving away. Its overwhelming to watch. Watch them want to give back. And i think they were really devastated by seeing the homes destroyed, knowing that children lived there, that possibly they met these children.
