According to the National Hurricane center, eta has maximum sustained winds of 120 miles an hour. It will make landfall early tomorrow, and is expected to bring lifethreatening storm surge and strong winds to nicaragua and honduras. Parts of Central America could receive nearly three feet of rain. Eta is the 28th named storm of this hurricane season. It has been a really busy hurricane season, tropical storm, typhoon, cyclones. Theres been a lot of those. Outside we go, and we do have some air quality stuff today. Thats clearly smoke in the atmosphere, as the sunset was kind of red out there. There is a little patchy coastal fog as well, but the smoke kind of you know, if it wasnt horrible, but its just enough, and especially if youre i dont have asthma, but i think if you have asthma, and Something Like that, those respiratory issues, or elderly, or getting over something, a cold or something, it can be really hard on you, so i think tomorrow will be similar to what we had today. The atmospherics are changing. Out here in the pacific is all of this going on, and thats enough, i think, to kind of push this ring out, as we go into the next middle end of this week. And so we have kind of a big pattern shift, which is super typical for this time of year, which is exactly what you would expect. So that will be nice, and the best thing is it will drop temperatures down a few degrees. It will also increase relative humidity. So that will be great, and that which helps with the fires so much. Current temperatures running about where they were last night, and then this was the longrange model. Watch here, see how it just pushes down through. Thats good. So what thats a longrange model, and i just rolled it all the way through a bunch of days. Were all the way to next tuesday. I was really trying to point out see how everything has shifted south . And thats a really good din days for upcoming rain that might end our fire season. Its a longrange forecast, have to take it with a grain of salt, but it is encouraging. These overnight lows tonight will be chilly. It says 41 in santa rosa. But youll get your 36, 27 out at forestville. It gets cold there. It just sits in that little bowl in there on just north, and south of guerneville, and they get cold. Coastal fog for tomorrow 0 kind of like today, kind of playing tag with the coast, and then forecast highs tomorrow, 60s and 70s with a couple of low 0s. So it will be slightly cooler tomorrow. These forecast highs for close to where you live, again its that you know, if i say lets say for instance i say 77 in redwood see, if you go 79 or 76, right . Youre not going to nail it every time, but thats a general number, and plus within redwood city, this is probably three microclimates within the city itself, so you see a lot of different temperatures. I get phone calls. But, yeah, you just have a lot of microclimates. Let me pop in the weekend. Cooler as we head into saturday and sunday. Ill see you back here at 6 00. All right. Well see you then, bill, thank you. Coming up, a look at the four finalists vying for the top spot at the oakland Police Department, and two of them are married to each other.
