The Fire Department released a copy of luminary findings from the investigation. They found that jason cortez was knocked over a railing on the third floor, by a blast of water from a valve he had inadvertently opened. Cortez was married, had two young children, and sadly died one hour later, at the hospital. Today was the last day of a planned five day strike by registered nurses at san leandro and alameda hospitals. The strike came after nine months of failed labor negotiations. What is left of delta is expected to travel east into the midatlantic, bringing rain into parts of the northeast through at least monday. That is the latest through lake charles. There is limited burn activity on the last fire, which is now 92 contained. All evacuation orders have been rescinded in napa and sonoma counties.
