The up around 40 miles an hour. Again, youre not noticing the winds. Is at the higher elevations. So with the wind streaks i just pointed out in these guys, those are going northeast and are at about 3500 feet. Watch what happens when i drop the wind streaks down to the surface. Thats the wind you are experiencing, thats the fog i showed you with surface winds. That is ushering in a cooler air pattern. Aloft on the peaks you still have air going this way. I had a couple people in a couple of stories talking about where is the wind in napa . What if they shut the power off . Because a big winds and higher elevation, which we talked about since sunday night. A lot of folks, you wont even notice winds but some of these red flag warning days. Nonetheless, its dangerous. There is the difference. Look at how much cooler it is. That is the big story in my mind, much much clear whether around the bay area. That helps firefighters, that helps everybody. It helps Higher Quality too. The forecast for tomorrow, fog back at the coast, temperatures much cooler, as they were today. And temperatures continue to be on the mild side. You will see that in the five day forecast with 94 degrees in brentwood tomorrow.
