It was mainly a peaceful protest last night with hundreds of people in downtown oakland. But some of the crowd set fires and smashed the windows of several businesses. At the courthouse, the glass doors were shattered and a fire was set inside. Around 11 00 last night some of the protesters walked down the off ramp of grand avenue to interstate 580 and temporarily stopped freeway traffic. Oakland police say several people were arrested. In wisconsin, police there or announcing the rest of the 17 rolled on suspicion of murder after two people were shot and killed during the protest in kenosha. It happened tuesday night and was captured on cell phone video. The suspect was identified as kyle rittenhouse. He was seen firing his weapon several times then walked away in the middle of the street with his hands in the air towards the police. Still holding the rifle. He was among groups of heavily armed civilians in kenosha who claimed they were protecting businesses from protesters. The investigation into the shooting of 29yearold jacob lee, who was shot at least seven times by police say he is paralyzed from the waist down. Mr. Blake opened his driver side door and leaned forward after he walked around his vehicle. Officer Rusten Sheskey fired his Service Weapon seven times.
