Evacuation orders and the north bay are expanding because of several wildfires burning 50 square miles. The lightning complex wildfires include the hennessy fire, this fire has burned 10,000 acres, destroying one home, and two outbuildings. It is also threatening the nicolini winery. The oldest winery that was founded in 1890. The hennessy fire is zero percent contained. Overnight, flames from the complex destroys homes near the community of winters, near highway 128 north of vacaville. This is what it looks like early this morning along Pleasant Valley road. The Solano County Sheriffs Office announced early this morning that people who lived west of blue ridge road highway 505 and north of cherry glen road to highway 128 must evacuate your home. The survey conducted by the Democracy Fund found that 30 percent of voters will likely vote by mail and the november election. 38 percent of voters who plan to vote for joe biden have also said they plan to vote by mail. 23 percent of voters supporting President Trump say that they will use mailin ballots. The postmaster general also says that he will hold off on any more operational changes at the Postal Service, until after the elections. There has been a lot of criticism to changes made by the postmaster general, causing interference with the timely deliverance of mailin ballots. News conferences called for an investigation of plans of the postmaster general, louis dejoy. Happening today, immigrant workers and Sonoma County will be demanding that local officials stop immigration officers who are looking for undocumented people, especially during the pandemic. The workers and supporters are angry that ice officials have made for arrests and the county last week. The demonstrators have said that the arrests create fear when people should be able to trust the government, they also say that people are afraid to get tested for covid19 and risk spreading the virus to others. Many beaches and Santa Cruz County will be closed with the labor day weekend, supervisors approved closing the beach and the unenclosed unincorporated part of the county, until 5 00 monday evening during the holiday weekend. No one is going to be allowed to sit on the beaches except late saturday and sunday afternoon. You will be allowed to cross the sand to go swimming or surfing at any time. A lot of the smoke is going northwest to southeast, but there is so many, a northeast breeze brings it back. We are getting reports in San Francisco have asked, fine ash falling. Again, it is everywhere. The satellite image shows that some of these are showing at, the lightning complex and the Santa Cruz Mountains shows up on infrared satellite. There are so many fires. It is up and down the state. It is easy to get a lot of days and there. Northwind, summit lake has one. Atlas peak, it had a west wing but it is at 84 degrees. 70 percent humidity. For the firefighters, i dont see much of a break. Humidity very low humidity very high temperatures. Napa, american canyon, 50 and lima valley. It is cooler near the coast. 70s and the Santa Clara Valley and low 70s for saratoga and santa clara. In the Santa Cruz Mountains, it is easter northeast, warm temperatures and low humidity. 70s for many locations. Travis is 75, excessive heat warning near 100 degrees for those in lynn. Very dry. It is humid, muggy, and a lot of the smoke is around. You get the high thin layer of the smoke that is obscuring things. Vacaville has an east wind at 81 degrees. 30 percent humidity. There is really nothing that is positive here, except the wind speeds are not that strong. Other than that, it will be a hot day in lynn. This is a heck of a High Pressure system that is parked itself over the nevada border. It will get nudged out of the way. It will be bumped back towards arizona and new mexico which will open the door for cooling. I will tell you, it is a slow process, when it is this strong.
