Talking a little baseball now, both the as and giants are getting ready for the big red series that starts monday in oakland. And the 60 game schedule looks like its going to happen. This will be really something, if you think about it. Anybody can get hot and wind up winning it, which brings us to the San Francisco giants situation, now that buster posey has bowed out. They put in the top prospect of joey bartlett. Although the Team President says he is not quite ready. But i say, a 60 game schedule, you are not going to ruin the guy in 60 games. He has been so impressive, fans deserve to see him, hes not going to be in the Minor Leagues because there is no Minor Leagues. And his teammates are impressed, including lung goria who has seen a few players and his time. Julie bard i think is the closest that we have in terms of breaking through at the Big League Level and being an impact player right out of the chute. So im on joey a little bit and im kind of hard on him. Its because i really like him as a player and i think he has the potential to be a special player. Why not give it a shot . Teams are being more creative and willing to take a risk in a 60 game schedule and they will be the one to come out in the long run. The giants have nothing to lose at this point.
