Two counties reporting triple digit increases and new cases. But it was the last official tally day. Contra costa county had 173 cases weird Santa Clara County had 100. Today in the news conference, Governor Newsom will announce tougher pandemic restrictions just ahead of the july 4 weekend. We will report to tell us what these new guidelines could look like. The state has seen an increase in positive cases over the past two weeks. Hospitalizations and icu stays are also up. Family members or households start to mix and they take down their guard. Reporter the governor urges everyone to wear a mask and present practice physical testing. To make state Health Officials are monitoring counties with large bricks. There are 18 counties on the state watchlist. The governor said at his press conference yesterday that he expects to add four more to the list. Thomas aragon, said San Francisco may be put on the states watch list because of the virus. In the past week, the number of hospital patients jumped 49 parsley due to hospitals treating infected people who have been transferred from san quentin prison and imperial county. At yesterday city council meeting, several people spoke and urged the council to further cut the Police Department budget. The city council had arctic cut 20 million from the Police Department. There are calls to cut the departments budget life 50 for 150 min dollars. The city council will reconsider the budget on july 21. The police and the Transportation Department started removing the barriers early this morning that they were confronted by protesters who moved furniture and other items to keep that zone in place.
