The civil rights attorney said the police have not provided details of what led up to the shooting. Until we see proof, that these people posed a threat, it is still excessive force. In today in houston, thousands of people join the family of george floyd as they marched through the streets demanding just is. The houston mayor and the police chief join the demonstrators. The crowd marched to the steps of city hall. The family also emphasized the importance of peaceful protests. Oakland police say they made 100 arrests last night for curfew violations or more serious crimes. An estimated 15,000 people marched peacefully to the downtown area. Later about 1000 people broke off from that group and officers moved in right around the time that curfew began at 8 00 last night. 20 of the arrests were for other things than curfew violations that second group did a massive amount of destruction. We believe they are an organized element. 80 of the 100 arrests were for violating the curfew. Most of those cited were cited and released. We have developing news out of Solano County rebel helicopter clipped an overhead wire and crashed. Three people were said to be on board. The crash started a small fire near lyon road in soda springs road. A cal fire water truck overturned injuring three firefighters. They were taken to a local hospital.
