Henry lee tells us it is a later shooting involving the department in recent weeks. Reporter the hayward Police Department is investigating its third officer involved shooting. This cluster is a red flag that cannot be ignored. Anytime you have a rash of Police Shootings and in particular one department it should be cause for concern. Overall, police in oakland said they took 60 people into custody last night. They are accused of crimes ranging from vandalism to looting and possession of firearms. One officer was injured and taken to the hospital. The Department Says he will be okay. And bill scott says there were 33 felony arrests in the city and 87 people were arrested for curfew violations.
