Over the weekend more than 100 new cases were confirmed here in the bay area and virus deaths were reported yesterday in Santa Clara County and in San Francisco. According to San Francisco chronicle, the number hospitalized by the virus in the bay area has not gone up in the last two weeks. And another case of the coronavirus is reported at the hospital in San Francisco. Now there are at least 22 confirmed cases, including six residents and 16 Staff Members. The hospital since march 25th has been under a protective quarantine order. It is now 4 04. San joses low income neighborhoods are being hit the hardest by the coronavirus pandemic. According to a new report, the bay area news report reported and studied death records in Santa Clara County said almost half of the countys first 100 deaths from the virus occurred in four of san joses poorest areas. He says if he is asked to go to the white house, he will, but wear a mask and practice social distancing. Director of the cdc and fda commissioner will also be in self quarantine for two weeks. Dr. Felt she and three other Health Officials will testify remotely at a senate the coronavirus. Dr. Felt she had been scheduled to testify in person. That changed because his potential exposure to the virus. After a deadly shark attack over the weekend, 26yearold brian kelly was attacked while surfing there saturday afternoon. Officials say that kelly and two friends were about 100 miles offshore when he was attacked. Paramedics tried to save him, but he was pronounced dead at the scene. Six stores will be opening in south carolina, alabama, alaska, and idaho. Apple says it will have safety protocols in place customers coming into the store without a mask will be given one and social distancing will be required. Stores will also limit the number of people inside the stores and temperature checks will be given to customers and staff. Our time is now 4 17. Facial coverings can be taken off when passengers eating in designated areas, in their private rooms if they are sitting alone, or with a travel companion in a pair of seats. Amtrak says the new policy is to keep all passengers and Staff Members safe from the coronavirus. Most travelers say they are okay with this new policy. I guess that makes me a little more safer in my mind knowing i cant get coronavirus on the train traveling to see my family. Amtrak says passengers have to supply their own masks children who cant keep a mask on, they are exempt from that requirement. Amtrak also said passengers should take precautions when you are traveling to other states as each state may have different policies for facemasks caltrain says it could be forced to shut down service if it doesnt get additional funding. The agency has been hit hard by the coronavirus pandemic which i only has ticket sales is supports of its income. We wanted to share some of the ground since nobody else is able to see the Pretty Flowers blooming. It was a nice way to be able to share some of the joy with the mothers this weekfor struggling small businesses. Some restaurants offered special mothers day takeout menus. And sacramento, one woman who was in labor for two days got the best mothers day gift. Its amazing, im so blessed and so happy. Hes here, hes healthy, and i couldnt ask for anything more. Its awesome. Yesterday, emily wealth gave birth to a nearly 9 pound baby boy. She was in labor since friday and it 3 17 sunday her long wait was over. She has two other children, but this time around the process was much different because of the pandemic. Visitors were not allowed. Her two other children cant wait to meet their baby brother.
